Thanks so much for joining us for The Ashworth Brother’s 2MAN at Goat Hill Park. It was our 8th Annual at The Goat, and every time it feels like we’re going home!
Final Results
In this tournament there are three ways to get your name engraved on the JUG. The Goat Hill Park Derby is one of them, and the Derby is always festive and full of surprises. Congrats to our champs, team Dana Albert/Dave Rebensdorf. They survived the 4 Hole Alt Shot Format against a strong field, and then a 3 Hole playoff with the Anthony Gregory/Jonathan Parker team who claimed Place Money. Our Long Shot squad, CJ Cnossen/Jesse Hall came in 3rd for Show Money in a chip- off against the Brian Ruiz/Sam Van Galder Team. We hope to have Riles back next year to run things!
The 2025 Goat Hill Park Champions are team Jeremy Huckell/Bob Franceshetti. The Ripon Duo coasted to a 4 shot win by shooting an astounding 23 Under over 36 Holes. Apparently (from Joe Pacheco) they made everything from everywhere. Congrats guys on the win and the $800 Payout The Brian Ruiz/Sam Van Galder Team collected 2nd Place Overall money with 19 Under. They won a card-off with the Patrick Matthews/Derek Thomas team who collected 3rd Place money in the overall Championship.
Kris Ramos/Fernie Ramos protected THE HILL by going back to back in the GROSS DIVISION. Getting no shots/no diapers they managed to shoot 18 Under for the two days. These guys can flat play! We thought the Dana Albert/Dave Rebensdorf team would walk the dog to a sweep (Derby, Overall, Gross) after a 52 on Saturday. They came back to earth on Sunday with a BB 63, but still good enough for 2nd Place Gross. Team Texas, Sam Braver/Chase Griggs finished 15 under and took 3rd Place in a card-off.

What's Next
A lot of big talk amongst the Goat Hill Park locals about bringing a few teams to Grizzly Ranch GC for the OG on August 25 & 26. This will be our 17th year at the Grizz. It’s a slice of heaven, so do yourself right and make the trip. We expect 60 Teams, but currently have room. The City of Santa Cruz also has openings! Beat the heat and come to Santa Cruz in July for some home cooking from our amazing team - Whit, Aaryn, Mary, Hutty, and 156. This TEAM is THE best!
