Gang,

Thanks for joining us at Pasatiempo. We hope you had a great time and will come back again soon.

Final Results

The final results for The Ashworth Brothers 2MAN at Pasatiempo are in. Congratulations to our Tournament Champions, Steve Argo & Josh Christenson! Apparently, Steve and Josh played stress-free golf and coasted to a four-shot victory at 12-under par over the two days.

In the Gross Division, the winners were Greg Bargas & Trent Tessler. They fired a best ball 66 on Monday to come from six shots back and take the title. We’ll get their names engraved, and the trophy will reside inside the Hollins House at Pasatiempo.

Aces on the Course

Hole-in-ones seem to be a theme at our tournaments. We’ve now lost count, but we know it’s over 15 — with 7 of those in Santa Cruz County alone. This year, Jason Alves dunked it on #5 during day one, and Nick Sherman made his first career ace on #8 on day two. Congrats boys!

Pasatiempo Shines

For all of us, the real winner was Pasatiempo. What a place — truly a championship golf course. Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible, especially Steve Argo (GM), Ken Woods (DOG), and the Pasatiempo Membership. We hope to announce a return in 2025 soon — and it only makes sense that Mr. Argo will need to defend his title!

The course was immaculate and the setup was awesome. For that, we thank Justin Mandon, Superintendent, and his crew. Many of you got to meet Justin at The Championship Dinner.  Justin’s a bit of a mad scientist, and together with Golf Corse Architect Jim Urbina, is responsible for the amazing renovation.

Upcoming Tournaments

There are five more Ashworth Brothers Tournaments this year. Pronghorn in September is SOLD OUT, but there’s still room in the others:

  • City of Santa Cruz at Seascape GC: July 13–14
  • Traveler’s Cup at Sun Valley: August 3–5
  • Grizzly Ranch GC: August 25–26
