Sam Van Galder is a full-time artist from Janesville, Wisconsin and a creative force behind our 2026 Tournament Artwork. Sam’s amazing art contributes to our apparel line as well. His unique style is sharp, grounded, rooted in a real understanding of the game, and a difference maker for Yardage. Spend five minutes on his Instagram and you will see why our partnership with Sam is so vital.

Before shifting to art full-time, Sam spent more than a decade teaching high school and helping students push their creative skills. When he began painting golf courses in 2020, the work connected quickly and he had found a subject that matched the way he sees the world.
Sam pays close attention to how courses are built and how they feel while navigating a classic layout. Some of his work is straight forward, some of it more complex, and all of it earns your attention with quiet details. He looks at design, movement, and the natural character of a course, then translates that into clean, focused artwork that reflects the real experience of being there. Nothing forced.
Sam connected with Hank in early 2025 and the fit was immediate. Both see golf in a similar way and both wanted the visuals of Yardage to be a reflection of the places and of the people that make golf such a great game. Sam understood the direction right away and brought a voice that strengthens the identity of our brand.
For the 2026 season, Sam has created the artwork for each stop on the Ashworth Brothers 2MAN Tour. Four tournaments, four different looks, all tied together with a consistent style that is honest and intentional. His work gives each event a clear identity and elevates our story.
Sam is steady and collaborative. His art has become an important part of Yardage and how we want our company to be perceived. Everyone at Yardage is excited and proud to have him as a partner and integral part of our team.
